A Good Reason To Keep Up With Your Cardio!

I found this on LinkedIn today (from Tim Caylor) and loved the encouragement. Thought I would share it with you!

"Why it’s good to keep up with your cardio…

Top speed: Grizzly bears can run at speeds of up to 35 mph (56 km/h) for short distances.

Sustained speed: They can maintain speeds of 25-28 mph (40-45 km/h) for 2 miles (3.2 km).

Distance: They can run up to 10 miles (16 km) at a sustained speed of 20 mph (32 km/h).

These speeds are significantly faster than humans, who can only run at a top speed of 27 mph (43 km/h).

So, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you need to outrun a grizzly bear, it's important to remember that you're doomed. I mean, “you can do it!”
